ReGen for Access provides ProtoGroup experts with an easy-to-use, efficient tool to reproduce Microsoft Access applications as Microsoft Visual Studio .NET projects directly from MDB binary files! ReGen for Access helps ProtoGroup migrate data that is scattered throughout your enterprise onto a SQL server. This provides increased reliability, availability, security, manageability, integration, and scalability of your line of business applications. 

ReGen's specific focus is on reproducing the User Interface of ported applications in the new development environment. This is one of the most laborious and error-prone parts of the application migration process, where you can realize the greatest development acceleration and cost savings.

Access applications are reproduced exactly as they were with Forms, Controls, and Properties accurately mapped to their Microsoft .NET platform equivalents. This similar behavior and appearance increases user productivity and reduces support calls because users continue working in a familiar environment.  

ReGen is used by ProtoGroup engineers as part of the ReGen Conversion Service for Microsoft Access.  Applications ported to ASP.NET WebForms through ReGen can also be protected by Microsoft Rights Management Services with nominal integration coding required.
